About Me

Committed to Client Success

I help my clients develop the ability and desire to explore a wider range of options than they had previously considered and to ask themselves deep questions about what they want in life.

I offer individual, one-on-one coaching, either in-person or by video conference. I also speak to groups about how to navigate mid-career transitions within or away from their current employers.

Coaching Philosophy

I believe that we are people first; our roles are second, so I coach every person as an individual whose situations and challenges are unique to them. I offer my clients a safe place to discuss topics that might not be received well in their workplaces. Some organizations have strong cultures that can be limiting. I help my clients see that there is no box to restrict their potential.

Educated and Experienced

I received my Leadership and Transition Coach certification from Rice University and a master’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University. I have additional undergraduate degrees in engineering and sports administration.

My success in three careers – diplomacy, sports broadcasting, and engineering – inspired a colleague to dub me the “Swiss Army Knife,” ready for and adaptable to any situation.

Other Interests

I am passionate about travel, playing and watching sports, and listening to music – especially progressive rock from the 1970s through today. My dream vacations combine two or more of these elements, such as when I attend “Cruise to the Edge” and experience a week of multiple concerts a day as well as shore excursions or when I go on a baseball tour with a friend, and we see eight games in eight ballparks in eight days.
